Essential Information

Visa requirements

All foreigners require a Nepal entry visa to enter Nepal and can get it at a Nepalese embassy abroad or upon Nepal's arrival. Most people obtain their visa upon arrival at Kathmandu airport.

You will need a passport photo and the following fees depending:

  • 15 days USD $ 25 or an equivalent convertible currency
  • 30 days USD $ 40 or an equivalent convertible currency
  • 90 days USD 100 or equivalent convertible currency

Cultural Consideration

For those of you visiting Nepal, we recommend cultural information to help you adjust and feel good: The dress code is essential for both men and women. Men and women should wear pants instead of shorts during a tour in Nepal. It's fine for men in vests, but Women should try to be as modest as possible in these situations.

Hindus are concerned about ritual contamination of food when someone outside their caste or religion touches it. Therefore, do not feel cooked meals on display. When you drink from a container used by others, do not touch your lips. Do not eat with your left hand, and be sure to eat or receive only your right hand. The shoes are considered degrading. So keep them on the floor and take them out before you put your feet on anything. When entering a Nepal house, follow the example of your host to decide if you need to take off your shoes. However, when you enter a temple or monastery, you must remove them.

You will pass Buddhist walls, Chorten, and Buddhist stupas along the way, and follow local traditions and place them on your right.

Travel insurance

Travel insurance for each itinerary of our company is a prerequisite for booking vacations. At a minimum, you must have emergency and repatriation insurance that must include the cost of mountain rescue, theft, loss, damage, and clinical problem. It is a brilliant idea when traveling in Nepal. There are a variety of guidelines. Please read your insurers' general terms and conditions carefully in an incredibly important part, which is correctly written in lowercase. Some policies exclude "dangerous activities," including motorcycling and trekking, bungee jumping, and rafting.

Choose a policy that covers emergency and clinical repatriation, including walking helicopter evacuation and general medical evacuation. You may prefer a policy that pays directly to hospitals, rather than issues them locally and claim them later. In Nepal, most clinical treatments must pay at delivery. If your insurance company doesn't make an advance payment, make sure you receive the receipts to claim them later.

It would be best to know that you would bear the cost of the evacuation and return procedures. You must pay for the evacuation or medical treatment. You must be fully aware of travel insurance's effects and understand the limitations and exclusions of your policy. Please note that in certain circumstances, our company guide may initiate helicopter rescue operations (or other necessary operations) in medical emergencies without first seeking approval from your insurance company.

One Of The Best Pilgrimage Tour : Muktinath Tour review

We were ten people from Mumbai, and we visited Muktinath, a holy temple of Lord Vishnu, with the help of Nepal Tour & Trekking Service P. Ltd. The oxygen levels in Muktinath are low. An overnight stay in Jomsom and an early trip to Muktinath for worship is a great itinerary. We found the best company that gave good suggestions for the route and the altitude. It was a great trip. Many thanks for the smooth organization of the Muktinath Darshan trip. Although the road conditions were bumpy, the panoramic views on the way to Muktinath were impressive. The accommodation arranged by the tour guide was perfect; the food was delicious and served with a lovely smile.
